My first experiences with photography happened with my father’s old camera, a „Leica“. Sixteen years later I bought my first  reflex camera and discovered digital photographic opportunities.

 

I love to travel to remote places like the arctic. There the silence , the tranquility  and the very particular light impresses me deeply.

 

In Africa I try to portray the great variety of the animal world. My (passionate) interest  goes to  its wildlife and behavior. It gives me the possibility to continuously discover and learn more.
